Virtual fall conference planned for September 30 and October 1

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lignite Energy Council Fall Conference slated to take place September 30 – October 1 at the Bismarck Event Center will become a virtual meeting to ensure health and safety of the participants.

Kay LaCoe, director of membership marketing, said that members will be receiving e-mails regarding the schedule of events and speakers for the conference. This will include the popular Mine and Plant Updates and Council Updates.

“Because it will be a virtual meeting, we hope that we reach a broader swath of our membership,” LaCoe said. “We are in the midst of dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s with our speakers and our technical advisors to ensure we can have a seamless virtual meeting.”

All components of the virtual Fall Conference will be free of charge to all Lignite Energy Council Members.
