2026 CoalPAC Golf Tournament
Join us on July 23, 2026, for the annual CoalPAC Golf Tournament, supporting the future of North Dakota’s coal industry, one swing at a time. Open to Lignite Energy Council members, the tournament will be held at three courses across the region.
- Hawktree Golf Club, Bismarck
- Painted Woods Golf Course, Washburn
- Prairie West Golf Course, Mandan
Your registration includes green fees, golf cart, shirt, lunch, steak dinner, prizes, and plenty of fun, all while backing a great cause. Proceeds support CoalPAC’s efforts to advocate for coal and promote lignite coal as a reliable, affordable energy source. (Please note: Registrations are considered donations to CoalPAC and must be paid with personal dollars!)

18 Hole Scramble Tournament / Shotgun Start (4 person teams)
- Includes: green fee, golf cart, golf shirt, contest prizes, door prizes, gift bag, lunch, steak dinner & FUN!
- Driving range will be open and complimentary at all courses ahead of the scramble
- Box lunch will be provided at all courses
- Door prizes and additional prize drawings at social
Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Participant registration fees are considered a donation to CoalPAC and must be paid with personal funds; sponsorships may be made with corporate dollars.

10:00-11:00 a.m. – Check in open (all sites)
11:00 (11:15) a.m. – Rules/Instructions at Painted Woods & Prairie West (11:15 at Hawktree)
11:15 (11:30) a.m. – Shotgun Start at Painted Woods & Prairie West (11:30 at Hawktree)
4:30 p.m. – Social at Hawktree Golf Club
5:30 p.m. – Dinner & Prizes (Hawktree)
