Successful golf tournament in North Dakota

More than 250 golfers participated at three courses in the Bismarck and Washburn, North Dakota, area on July 23. The tournament raises money for CoalPAC, which supports political candidates who support the lignite industry.

The employees of Falkirk Mine near Underwood, North Dakota, were recognized with the CoalPAC traveling trophy for having the most employees signed up for the tournament of any LEC member company.

The tournament was held at Hawktree, Apple Creek and Painted Woods golf courses.

No photo was available of the Hawktree Handicap winners: Bill Doherty, Derek Grimm, Jim Miller, Duane Poitra. Other winning teams are posted below.
