Armstrong Hosts Energy Roundtable at Bismarck State College

Congressman Armstrong hosted an energy roundtable discussion, which included leaders from the Department of Health, the Department of Mineral Resources, the Public Service Commission, Legislators, and the Affiliated Tribes Chairman among many energy industry representatives. Each representative seated at the roundtable shared his or her concerns with current or potential federal policy issues that affect their organization. There was a lot of discussion around state primacy issues, natural gas flaring and carbon capture. At the meeting, Congressman Armstrong thanked those in attendance for their participation and he announced his intentions to bring a congressional delegation to North Dakota for a firsthand experience in how our state successfully manages a robust energy industry that includes coal, oil and gas and agriculture.
